Another shot from the John Adams coin unveiling. At the podium is U.S. Mint Director Moy, seated middle is seventh-generation John Adams decendant Peter Boylston Adams, and to the right are John Adams himself (looking dapper for 2727 years old) and Mayor William Phelan. Everybody is enjoying a hot dog to show the convenience of the dollar coin. John Adams seems pretty nonplussed at spending a dollar for a snack (around 12 bucks in 1800 dollars!).
